K.Lee  started creating his artwork since 2004 and have been showing and selling his work from his studio and galleries around the UK

He found that, to him  art / creative work is a subject with many definitions. For that he uses a lot of inspiration from the simple/complex story of "The Wizard of OZ " . He agrees and identifies with the misfits that is uneasy in their own skin.

Be it remembering all his childhood scribbles on his textbooks/school books full of monsters and robots in a apocalyptic world . His big question is: the earth is warming up, with all the imbalances  happening, will organisms down the evolutionary ladder one day rule?

The artworks are a subtle hint of what  Lee is delving about the state of our environment. Using human form, sexuality, iving organisms, florals, avian creatures,  etc and juxtaposing it into something fun and amusing, a bit political, danger and mysterious.

By doing that he is continuing to figure out how to have courage, heart  and brains. He came to the conclusion. All of us at some point , would know who we really are.. and then metaphorically  will be at HOME with ourselves. We do not really need the man behind the green curtain for advice as he turn out to be a fraud.

By creating a story, he aim to giveth e viewer a lasting impression, inspires and evokes memories, then he has done his job.
